Bridges Trust Recognized with Business Excellence Award in Philanthropy

Bridges Trust is honored to be recognized with the Business Excellence Award for Philanthropy, presented by the Greater Omaha Chamber in partnership with Premier Bank. The Business Excellence Awards celebrate organizations that are making meaningful contributions to the Omaha community through leadership, innovation, culture, civic engagement, philanthropy, and business excellence.

Since inception, Bridges Trust has helped families, institutions, and nonprofit organizations navigate complex financial decisions with confidence and clarity. While investment management, trust and estate administration, and family office services remain central to our mission, community engagement and philanthropy have always been an important part of who we are.

The firm has maintained a long-term perspective rooted in stewardship, helping clients preserve and grow wealth while encouraging thoughtful charitable giving and community impact. Today, the firm oversees approximately $12.3 billion in assets under management, including nearly $6 billion in institutional advisory relationships, many of which are nonprofit organizations serving communities throughout Nebraska and beyond.

Our commitment to philanthropy extends beyond financial support. Each year, Bridges Trust supports more than 70 nonprofit organizations and community initiatives through sponsorships, charitable giving, volunteerism, and board leadership. Team members are encouraged to engage directly with causes they care about through programs such as TeamUp and BT Gives, helping strengthen the communities where we live and work.

A significant milestone in that commitment was helping launch the Bridges Philanthropic Fund, an independent public charity and donor-advised fund that surpassed $100 million in donor assets during its first year. The firm also supports financial literacy initiatives such as Share the Wealth Omaha, helping individuals and families build strong financial foundations for the future.
